After a simple washing step to remove impurities such as proteins and lipids, the RNA is eluted using enzyme-free water to yield high-purity total RNA. The entire manual procedure is straightforward and takes approximately 25–30 minutes. The kit’s protocol can also be easily adapted for use with various automated nucleic acid extraction systems, enabling standardised extraction at higher throughput.
