Q: What do I need to pay attention to when accepting the newly arrived consumables?

A: Whether the outer package is intact and clean, with no signs of damage, contamination or moisture; whether the name, specification, quantity, batch number, production date and expiry date of the label are consistent with the order; whether the inner package is sterile (if applicable), whether the sealing is intact, and whether there is any breakage or foreign matter; whether there are any defects, deformations, cracks, scratches and so on on the consumables themselves (especially precision filter tips, pipette tips, dll.).

Q: What are "enzyme-free", "DNA/RNA enzyme-free" dan "pyrogen-free"?

A: These are high standard consumables for specific sensitive experiments. Enzyme-free/DNase-free/RNase-free refers to the special treatment (cth. DEPC treatment or high-temperature baking) to ensure that there is no nuclease residue, which is used in molecular biology experiments (cth. PCR, RNA manipulation) and prevents degradation of the samples. Pyrogen-free: Pyrogens are thermogenic substances (cth. endotoxins) produced by microorganisms. Pyrogen-free consumables remove these substances through a special process and are mainly used in cell culture, injectable preparation production, dll. to avoid causing an immune response.
