• When aspirating the supernatant, avoid touching the aggregated magnetic beads with the pipette tip. It is better to leave a small amount of liquid behind than to disturb the beads.

2.3 Adequate Drying

•    After the final wash, open the tube cap and let the magnetic beads air-dry at room temperature on the magnetic stand for 2-5 minutos. This allows the residual ethanol to evaporate completely.
•    Key indicator: The beads are sufficiently dry when their surface changes from a smooth, glossy brown to a matte, non-reflective texture. Avoid over-drying, as this will make nucleic acid elution difficult and significantly reduce yield.
