Experimental cases:

Using Magnetic Beads 220012 for DNA fragment purification (bilateral length sorting method), 100μl sample (containing 1μg total non-dye DNA Marker, sizes 100-5,000 bp). First round: Add 2X-0.45X volume of sorting magnetic beads for DNA fragment purification. Second round: Add 0.2-0.15X volume of sorting magnetic beads, followed by electrophoretic detection using 1.2% agarose gel.

Conclusion: In the classical 0.6X+0.2X volume ratio, 0.6X on one side can recover fragments of 400bp (inclusive) or more, while the double-sided 0.6X+0.2X can mainly recover fragments of 300-700bp.
