1.Introduction

2. Silica-based magnetic beads

The 160014 magnetic beads, used in conjunction with Lingjun’s Whole Blood Genomic DNA Extraction Kit, are designed for the extraction, enrichment, and purification of genomic nucleic acids from fresh, frozen, or anticoagulant-treated blood samples. Under the action of guanidine salts, sample cells are lysed to release nucleic acids. The 160014 magnetic beads specifically adsorb the nucleic acids, separating them from other impurities in the sample. After washing with a buffer to remove proteins and residual guanidine salts, the purified nucleic acids are eluted and collected via magnetic adsorption. The resulting product can be used in PCR amplification, nucleic acid detection analysis, gene mutation detection, sequencing, and other experiments.

Analysis of Results:

1、The extraction time is approximately 20 minutes, and genomic DNA was successfully extracted from all 14 human whole blood samples with high stability.

2、The extracted products show high purity: the 260/280 ratios all reached above 1.9, and the 260/230 ratios all reached above 1.4.

3、The extracted products exhibit high yield: the yield from 200 μL samples was above 3 μg, meeting the requirements for downstream applications.

4、The electrophoresis bands are intact, with no degradation or smearing.
